What made you decide to become a lawyer?
At secondary school I was intrigued by the thought of becoming a lawyer. I’m a people person so I needed a career where you get to interact with all sorts of people. I worked in administration in a few law firms and I got sick of being behind the scenes, so I went online, enrolled myself in law school, and the rest is history.
Where did you study law and what was your favourite subject?
The University of Waikato and Land Law.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
If you set your mind to it, you can do it.
Do you have any hobbies / interests outside of work?
Spending time with my family and friends, going out for dinner and enjoying a glass of wine, netball, and shopping.

What do you love about your job?
